Riva is a boutique fitness studio offering reformer Pilates in group classes, private sessions, and related services. These Terms govern your use of our services, including our website, mobile app, and physical studio locations.

1. Bookings and payments: all classes must be booked in advance through our online system or mobile app. Payment is required at the time of booking unless you hold a valid membership or class package. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee or forfeiture of class credit (see our cancellation policy for details).

2. Memberships and packages: memberships and class packages are non-transferable and subject to minimum commitment periods as outlined at purchase. Class packages have fixed expiration dates and are not refundable once activated. Riva reserves the right to adjust prices or package terms with prior notice.

3. Cancellation policy: all classes, including confirmed waitlist entries, must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid losing the class credit or incurring a CHF 30 fee for unlimited pass holders.

4. Studio conduct: all participants must wear grip socks and appropriate workout clothing. Please arrive on time – late arrivals may not be admitted for safety reasons. Respectful behavior is expected at all times.

5. Health and safety: by participating in any Riva class or service, you confirm that you are in suitable physical condition and have consulted with a medical professional if necessary. You acknowledge the inherent risks of physical activity and agree to participate at your own risk. To the extent permitted by Swiss law, Riva excludes liability for any damages.

6. Privacy: we are committed to protecting your data. For details on how we collect, store, and use your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property: all content on this site – including logos, photos, class names, and descriptions – is licensed or in the property of Riva and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without written permission.

8. Modifications: we may update these Terms of Use to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our services following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction: these terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.
